| Bar Poem I'm not as
stupid as you take me for.
Even if I've had too much to drink,
You cannot carry my body to bed
Without knowing what lies in my heart.
Even if I've had too much to drink
Your words have no power over me.
Without knowing what lies in my heart
I am miles outside of your reach.
Your words have no power over me.
Now that I have gained my sum of worth
I am miles outside of your reach,
Safe in my own contentment.
Now that I have gained my sum of worth
You cannot carry my body to bed.
Safe in my own contentment,
I'm not as stupid as you take me for.
