| A Cry in the Dark Wolf cries,
as her moon falls from the sky.
Who would be so bold, to shoot down the moon
and blacken the night?
Girl howls, unheard in the dark.
Day returns,
but she remains covered in night.
Blueblack traces across her skin,
Why did she do this
to herself?
Wolf's keen nose smells the scent.
Wolf knows it was not
a choice.
Search for your moon, Girl,
To wash you clean
of night.
Girl mourns her moon's fall.
Wolf howls
a rage,
howls across the earth
until the thief is found.
Howls
Until guilty pride
Cowers in shame.
Wolf howls
to return her moon to the night.
