Model Man

He is malleable in his discontent.
Fluid as a dancer,
He changes step in time
With the rhythm of social wind.

Alcohol as solvent,
He is metamorphosing to cover pain.

His mind is a silent storm,
And his spirit is ever
Frolicking clay.  Beer, forgotten
And spilling out on the floor,
Remains from his attempt to liquefy shape.

Unhappy with his last form,
He sprawls useless on the floor,
Waiting for a brilliant sculptor

To mold him into art.
