Things are flying along here. Closing on the houses is a little over a week away. I think i have all my ducks in a row, but they're young and wiggly. This morning i've already received one phone call from my roommate to be that the seller is harassing him again. He's not supposed to be harrassed. I feel harrassed just hearing about it. So...i've got shows to do this morning and then phone calls to make this afternoon. It looks to be another very full day.~w

I got to sleep in this morning...but i think i over did it. I'd better just go to work so that everything (or most everything) that needs doing can get done.~w

It's a foggy morning and i feel that way myself as i try to get my body moving again. I gave up getting into the office yesterday afternoon since it was 4pm before i could have anyway. The first graders are going to look lovely tomorrow night. Today though, we go to a different school and play with different kids. It just so happens that this one involves a longer drive and means being up a little earlier still.
In the moving world, i'm sitting on my hands and holding my breath waiting on hearing back from the lender. Good thing i'm too busy to think much, or that would be driving me buggy with anticipation.~w

Late again for this early morning stuff. As i open this page i hear my ride driving up the drive. Oh well, more later. Mostly i'm just tired when i'm not doing right now.~w

Blogger wasn't working this morning and i didn't have time to write anyway. I have a short breather here between school and office. The first graders are ready to perform in the gym tomorrow for their dress rehearsal and looking good. It's hard to compete with leprechan prints and pots of gold/candy though.
That reminds me. I don't know if he reads this page, but i want to shout out a big "Happy St. Pat's Day!" to my friend Pat who is the proud owner of 12 cards/e-cards with some of the world's worst St. Patrick's Day jokes and he's about to be the owner of one more. I personally will not be drinking any green beer. In fact i may do little more than sleep this evening.~w

I feel like i've been going non-stop. I'm pausing between planes for a moment in the Atlanta airport because 3:45am was just to early to have time to do things like write a blog before leaving the hotel. Yesterday's show went splendidly. People really seem to appreciate us and we sold almost all the books, cds, and t-shirts that we had crammed in a big suitcase. My highlight of the morning was the conversation i had with a lovely teacher named Darwin who had both compliments and wisdom to share that i really needed at that point.
I spent the rest of the day driving and talking. I drove to meet my sister halfway between Chicago and Champaign for dinner (that was supposed to be lunch originally, but the day ran long). On the drive there and back i had conversations with roommate to be, neighbor to be, and realtor sorting out some of the messy details of this whole thing. It seems the gas tank and some other issues with the seller have been solved to the point that we're just waiting on my loan's approval. Before crashing at the hotel i finally managed to catch up with both work and home sale stuff with my friends/co-workers/buyer's of my home. I spent a lot of time in my head it seems and then barely got a nap in before it was time to jump on the plane. Fortunately, i slept on the flight here because when i get to Asheville i'll have to hit the ground running to make it to fight rehearsal this afternoon. Sometime this week i'll find time to breath before i start packing.~w
