Sitting in the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport, because even though planes go from Little Rock to Atlanta, we had to go from Little Rock to DFW to get to Atlanta to get to Asheville. It's a long day of planes and airports and i'm wishing my computer bag had wheels...it's not heavy until you have to carry it on your shoulder across 3 airports. But fortunately Rodney is a Crown Club member of Delta so we can sit in the special area where i can do things like log on to the internet for free in a nice quiet room.

Yesterday was busy but fun. The teachers were very enthusiastic about what we had to offer them for their classrooms and treated us very well. I didn't get to see the ducks on parade, but i did see them floating around their pond in the lobby. I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight though. I'm not sure if i really dig the "jet setter" lifestyle.~w

Flying home today...everything went by so fast. On the phone with work while typing and packing will have to write more later.~w

We're staying at the Peabody in Little Rock with the ducks. That's right they have ducks living in the Penthouse and parading down to the fountain everyday just like the one in Memphis. I feel like a princess in a tower looking out over the Arkansas river from my ninth floor room. The only problem is that princesses looking out of tower windows always having that longing look or lonely look for a chance to be out in the world rather than up in the tower looking at it. Or is it that their waiting for their prince to come? I haven't met too many knights in shining armor so i guess i've always just wanted to get out and do the adventuring thing without waiting for some mythical man to show up. I figure if he wants to find me he'll have to catch up with me first.~w

I'm flying to Arkansas today. There's a teacher conference there that we're performing at tomorrow. That means i spent the morning packing and am about to be picked up and don't have much time to type.

The wind is blowing strange this morning, there appears to be a storm on the horizon. Things are changing one day at a time.~w

It's Election Day! Remember to get out and vote!!

With that, i'm off to do just that and then go try to catch up with work.~w

There are millions of ideas out there. Just when you discover something new for your self, you look around and see that plenty of other people already knew about that. So over this weekend i have found three different areas of psychology that i want to research in an effort to draw them all together into one big glob for myself. When i'm done, it may be that other people might be interested in it, or it may turn into a fiction novel...or it may lead to grad school study or...it may just be a diversion for a time from other stuff in my life. What i do know is that it's the next phase of the research that i sort of blindly stumbled into last year. We'll see how it goes...~w

I'm home safe and sound. The drive was long, but fortunately uneventful and even pretty at times. I have no food and need to go to the store, but i'm leaving again on Wednesday, so i don't want to go too crazy with food. The yard needs raking, the house needs vacuuming...at least i got the laundry done last night. I'm a bit of a boring slug. I'll have to see about fixing that now that i've had some rest.~w
