And they're off! Four teams jump in cars today and drive away to spread poetry across the country. I'll be heading into the office to get them some final paperwork and then spend the rest of the day with the team that stays behind.~w

I was biting my nails yesterday in nervous anticipation watching the new teams do their first real live shows for students. We have one more today, that should go smoothly and then just the big show tonight for the general public. One team is staying behind to continue rehearsing this weekend. Looks like it'll be a few more days before i have some time off.~w

Swollen eye is gone thanks to some good chiropractic care that allowed my sinuses to drain. Now i'm ready to watch the teams trot out the new shows in front of real live students today. I may have time to breathe finally this weekend if all goes well.~w

I woke up with a swollen eye. Looks like i've been hit. Thing is...it's just allergies. Ah well. Fortunately it's a bit cloudy and a good day for glasses. Serves me right i suppose for being the one who has to watch all the shows.~w

Today we try to get everybody off book on all four shows...including me.~w

One more show's blocking to work through today and then we get to the fine tuning part for the rest of the week. I think some people actually have the day off...but there's no rest for poet performers...~w

I slept in today. I'm not sure what to do with myself. Good thing i have to be at work by 1:30pm or i might think i had some time to relax.~w
