Ah, a lovely sunny bright day that feels like spring, but i think it's fall. Today i plan to find some christmas presents and a tree to put them under before i ship them off.
I may be getting a roommate after all for a few months. It didn't look like it would happen, but now it seems that i need the help with bills and she needs a place to escape to until she finds a home of her own. I think it will be a good thing overall.
Last night was a wonderful gathering of friends celebrating the finish of 6 months of massage training for two of our friends. I made to friends and celebrated the old and found myself thoroughly happy with the variety of the conversations. I feel like my fire has been stoked to move on into the weekend with purpose. Oh, i still have to memorize some holiday poems for tomorrow night though. Better get cracking...~w

Feeling much like a bouncey ball, i have rebounded back home again. My purring cat on my lap is very happy i came back. Tonight is the full moon, but last night the moon was a ghost among turbulent clouds while the wind blew strong and warm. That's right warm. It's 65F already this morning. I know we're south, but these are the mountains after all. Oh, i forgot to mention that on Tuesday evening (after two of my friends had passed their test for graduation) i came home to find that two gerber daisies had bloomed in my yard. What month is this?~w

I'm in Boiling Springs, SC this morning (just outside of Spartanburg) to do some shows at the local high school here. I suppose i'm already moving to slow and should get packed. Not much new to spout about here, but i'll let you know how the shows go.~w

Car's okay, heating oil tank was refilled yesterday, cat has finished her medication, and i still have money in the bank! Whoo hoo! Now if i can just convince the boss i need a raise so the same will be true after the holiday season.
Today i need to go into work and try to finish up some paperwork before Rodney and i drive to South Carolina for a full day of shows tomorrow. Somewhere in the drive i need to start memorizing "seasonal" poems for the "seasonal" show that Bob booked for us on Sunday at a coffee shop in town. I wish he'd ask me about some of these things first. I suppose it just might be a lot of fun though.
Somewhere in the middle of all of everything i want to have a tree trimming party. I haven't had a tree in years and i think it would be a lot of fun to gather and string popcorn and lights and ornaments all over a lovely smelling fir tree in my house. We'll see if i can make it happen.~w

I'm taking my car in for a check up this morning (i know i know it's supposed to be tune up...but). In otherwords, i have things to do and places to be and i'm not moving fast enough yet. The office went okay yesterday as long as i kept my head about me. It was easy to get distracted though. Today i think i'll be able to sift through quite a bit before the day is done. I just need to get there first.~w

Well, it's back to work in the office today. I've been out of the box for a whole week, so it will take a bit to get my head around the daily tasks again. I did manage to get my CDs finally put away to my liking yesterday. It seemed silly, but it suddenly became very important. I guess my head was feeling muddy and i needed something to focus on and control.
I finally feel like my house is somewhat in order. Now it's time for holiday decorating. I may need to gather some friends to help me tackle that task. Oh, and now that the weekend rush is over, i suppose i should start my gathering of packages to send home for the holidays. That will have me running around quite a bit...~w

This mornings obsession is reorganizing my CD collection. Why? I finally decided to unpack the CDs from their travel cases so i wouldn't have to go running around the house looking for where i put the one i'm looking for. Unfortunately, i haven't figured out how to fit them in an ordered and useful way into my cabinet. Now i'm late for lunch. I'll have to write later when i find my head again.~w
