I went to an interview a couple of weeks ago and was asked about my piano compositions. Puzzled, I asked what he was talking about. Apparently when you Google Wendy Loomis (as opposed to my name, Wendi Loomis) you find only one article about me at theleaf.com and the rest take you to sites about the composer Wendy Loomis. So if you found me looking for her, I hope you'll stay a moment to read what's here, but she has some lovely music and is worth checking out. I can't say that I've made nearly as much music as she has, but I'm having some fun with it right now.

Cantankerous hosted the open mic night down at the local coffee house this evening and we had a grand time sharing music with a festive Friday evening crowd. Tomorrow we have a full day lined up to play for a 94 year old poet friend of mine as well as a private party. Next week we'll play Saturday night at the coffee house just because my mom is coming to visit (and it's fun). Rumors of demo recordings are in the works and I'm also enjoying making different music with another group of fellows. If I can't seem to make money right now, at least I can make music.~w
