performance
My high school students performed on Friday and were wonderful. I received congratulations from many students and faculty. One faculty member even said it was "the best choir performance I've seen at Landrum High." A seventh grader remarked to me that "the last song nearly made me cry because it made me think of my mom and cousin." I hope the praise keeps coming to the students and they feel encouraged to continue performing.
On the flip side, I seem to have become rather accident prone. Let's see, in the past week I've stepped on a tack, cut my finger and foot on glass slivers, banged my head literally on a brick wall, and I just sliced my finger real good today cleaning up the last of the glass mess on the porch. The dog and cat seem to be fighting constantly despite my efforts to get them to "play nice" and for some reason (maybe stress related) my voice has become to hoarse to yell at them to stop. My schedule for the next few weeks will be a whirlwind as I get the junior high students ready for their performance on December 1st. I hope I survive it. ~w
