somewhere over the rainbow

Still alive and ticking, I think my brain has gone on vacation though. The Middle school students I've been working with did their Art Open House performances last week and I'm still catching up with myself after trying to keep up with them. The Open House was a huge success and everyone seemed to have great fun, but this was the week before Spring break and it was hard to get back to work on the next project. In three weeks "Wizard of Oz" goes up and they have all of next week to forget their lines and blocking while they take a break from school. I'll be off performing for other schools myself and won't have time to think much about it myself. I just hope we can get focused when they come back to school. In the meantime, Spring has finally hit hard enough that we have abundant flowers blooming and there was time and sunshine enough for a trip up to float on the lake above our house. Even the trees are showing signs of green through the misty rainy day that is today.~w
