Homework for Drama is to finish the focus questions and reflections for chapter 11 on the safety regulations and backstage crew jobs. There are many jobs to be done to get ready for the performance and I need to know that everybody has a clue what the other groups are trying to do. It was actually due today, but I'll take the assignment on Monday. Oh, and work on memorizing your lines. Please!

I want to thank my students for all the loving comments. I actually am catching up on my own stuff today since I finished my homework last night for my class tomorrow. I had a worksheet to fill out on classroom practices, an article to read, and four typed pages of double entry journals on two scholarly articles related to my inquiry project for the course. The hardest part was tracking down useful articles on my topic so there was something interesting to write. I finally found a particularly interesting article that put into words a theory of teaching drama that is closer to what I would like to be doing. I feel like I'm learning something new every day right now. There was a t-shirt I liked this week. It said something about today being the best day of my life and knowing that tomorrow will be even better. If life is a roller coaster I'm on the uphill climb right now, but there's a fun set of loop-de-loops up ahead once the work of climbing is done.~w
