new arrival

I have a new friend! She is fun and loving and likes to play. Her name is Isis. She helps to entertain me when I get home from teaching school. She is very good at laying down at my feet for comfort while I grade papers and plan for tomorrow.
However, she thinks my pencil would be a better chew toy than whatever it is that I'm trying to do with it. She also gets mad if I work too hard on the computer and don't have time to play. Sometimes it's good to have a warning bell (or bark) that it's time to quit for the day. She's pestering me now in fact, so I'd better get going. It's been a busy day so it must be time to play before some much needed sleep.~w
